We solve problems for Sari-Sari store owners, with the goal to make each peso in their pocket go further. The mobile platform is one of our biggest enablers for this. It’s our connection to our owners, allowing us to build relationships, process transactions, educate and provide them access to new services at scale.

As a Python Developer, you shall perform the duties and responsibilities that your position or job necessarily entails.

Job Description:

• You will be responsible to build, deploy, improve, maintain and iterate one or more mobile apps that are part of our technology platform.
• GrowSari’s technology platform is fast growing both in scope and scale as the company builds out more offerings for its customers
• We use mobile apps for end Users (Sari-Sari stores) as well as in all aspects of our internal operations – acquisition, sales, Warehouse, logistics.
• These are built by members of our engineering team, each of whom is responsible for one or more modules/sub-systems
• You will be responsible for monitoring the health of your projects in production by
• Building in and tracking appropriate metrics for monitoring
• Regular refactoring and improvement of code base as needed
• You will work with product and other business teams to plan the future roadmap of your apps and to spec out new projects you are assigned to work on
• You will work with other engineers to design and continuously improve overall system architecture in line with changing organization needs

Job Qualification:

• Work experience as a Python Developer
• Expertise in at least two popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid)
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5)
• Team spirit
• Good problem-solving skills
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
